Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The soda machine was filthy and every single soda flavor was out and it came our clear. I ordered pulled pork but it smelled like fish so I decided not to eat it in fear of getting sick. They were out of two of the sides. Limited seating due to the store using the seating area as storage. Looks like it was ready for perment closing and my husband and I won't be back. In addition, there were customers who left due to waiting time to take there order on the paying customer before the unpaid customer. Only one employee running the store who appeared very frazzled.

I have always liked Dickeys, but this experience turned me off! I ordered a takeout for my wife & I & paid for it online. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at 1:30 pm. When I arrived at 1:20 I was 10 min early. I tried to go inside to wait, but the door was locked. I could see movement in the back, so I knocked, but there was no acknowledgment. I couldn't understand why they were closed in the middle of the day. I waited in my car. A few minutes later, a guy drove up & a thin, unkempt guy with long dreadlocks & and pants below his butt walked to the door & let a woman in. As she walked in, she locked the door behind her & the guy got back in the car and drove away. At 1:30, I went back to the door, which was still locked, & I knocked for 3 full minutes with no acknowledgment. I was quite upset. I waited a couple of more minutes & then left. We had to go somewhere else to get lunch even though I had already paid Dickey's. When I got home, I emailed my complaint to their corporate contact address explaining what happened & requested a refund. That was two weeks ago & I have never heard from anyone! I was at the Power & Baseline restaurant in Mesa, Az. DO NOT USE THIS STORE!

It looks this place is going out of business. They had restaurant equipment scattered everywhere. Their cooker was down and their soda machine was down. The took my order and charged my card and after I already paid. They explained that they were out of several items that I already paid for. The workers weren’t wearing clothes that indicated that they worked there. The food was cold, dry and the fries were uncooked. Won’t be eating here ever again. 0 stars.

The owner here is rude and cut people hours and pay them 4 to 5 day late and there smokers down and they don’t have hot water to wash dishes

Went there for lunch had great service, great food, had a great overall time! Definitely coming back!

Our regular Dickey's. But tried calling repeatedly today and saying the phone number is no longer in service Hoping this is an error. Will have to drive by later to confirm they're still open.

GREAT SERVICE!!! red haired girl needs a raise she gave samples and answered all my questions with detail definitely recommend!

The food was ok,but the place needs a cleaning...don't ask about the men's rr .
