Great food. Good small grocery spot.
I was excited to try this place after I saw it on TV. I went on a weekday morning before lunch. The macaroni salad that came with the food was too salty to eat, not a bit of pineapple nor celery. The Kalua pork tasted smoky but lacked flavor. The mochiko fried chicken was tasty but was soggy when I open the box to eat it at home. Overall, it was not as advertised.
Amazing portions that are so good. It was like being in Hawaii without needing to take a 5 hour flight. Will be going back again to try other dishes.
Wonderful place for spam musubi and stuffed inari. They also sell flavored shaved ice and various goods that compliment Japanese and Hawaiian food well.
Big servings of delicious food!
Lots of variety, a very fun place to shop. The food and shaved ice selections are very much on the expensive side, though. Be ready for that mini-shock.
