Desta Ethiopian Restaurant

Fantastic food and excellent service. I'm not often on this side of town, but I'm really glad we gave Desta a try. Both the meat and vegetable sampler platters were amazing. I want to go back and try the whole menu.

Good chicken tibs. Chicken Dora also decent. Veggie platter had okay taste but mostly lentils.

I had a delightful dining experience at this Ethiopian restaurant. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the authentic flavors of Ethiopia, made for an unforgettable meal. One of the standout dishes was the "Doro Wat," a rich and aromatic chicken stew that was perfectly spiced. Really good food. I suggest you get a platter with many different things if it's your first time. The red lentils and greens were my favorite, but chicken tibs were so good. It was very busy on a Friday night and they had a very large party nearby to accommodate so they were a little slow, but friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options: Lentils, cabbage, greens.
