Denny's

Very recently I became homeless (6 weeks). On May 29th I turned 55 and nervously set out for this "free" birthday meal. It was after eleven pm and I strolled in with my current up-to-date CDL. I was greeted by a kind young Latino man. I'll call him Gabriel. I hand him my ID and ask "Is this worth anything today?" Gabe replies "Is it your birthday?!?!!" "Um Yes." He politely explains to me that usually I would need a coupon, (realizing that I had no clue) then continues to say that Tonight we'll do this Old-school. My friend gave me a delicious Grand Slam and a cup of coffee. Sucralose was already on the table and even Diabetes Friendly Pancake Syrup! I've outlived most of my family so I certainly expected nothing on this day of living in (Hxxx)...Well, not my finest hour in life. But, Gabriel I will be back! Update: I have Began delivering for Uber Eats and hope to stop living in my car very soon. I dated too many waitresses growing up to stiff a server on a tip. It's almost a week ago since Gabe served me the soul food. I plan on dropping by with a tip that any ex-GF would be proud of! Thanks Guys! Arne.

Well I took my daughter and two grandchildren there on mother's Day an ordered food about $70 long story short my food had hair in it I only ate half of the food and I told them they took the food I didn't want anything else and they said they were going to adjust my bill and I still had to pay for the meal they took $3 off my bill I think they should have taken the whole thing off my bill for that plate considering I only ate half of it which was a $20 meal that's really sad and I paid a lot for all our meals so all-in-all am very disappointed in at Denny's and I will not go back there again
