Very busy. Take-out breakfast was didn’t present well. Dine in is a better option.

We live in DeLand but will drive over to the new Smyrna store. So good.

I honestly am not a big Dennys fan...in fact I intentionally DIDN'T order ANYthing breakfast food related as I've had a NUMBER of overcooked, under portioned and otherwise unlovingly prepared breakfast items in times past ESPECIALLY at this particular location...but when you're being treated to lunch by wonderful people the food is less important than the time spent with people you love so I went...I ordered the nachos because I can't remember EVER regretting nachos ANYWHERE...that is STILL true...the nachos were good enough...however, I was ASTOUNDED at the quality, care, and (dare I say it)...LOVE, that so OBVIOUSLY went into the breakfast items I saw brought to our table! WELL DONE DENNYS STAFF! I will be back...by my own choice...for what looked to be a wonderfully prepared breakfast. Oh, and it was just under $50 for the four of us to eat! After the AARP and/or the veterans discount the value is unparalleled for a quality dine-in experience like we had! Bon Appétit!

Never received my food! It's been 3 days and corporate says I should hear back shortly. I'm 7 months pregnant and wanted breakfast at 1am! Cried myself to sleep. Still no refund that was close to $30 for a slam breakfast. So upset

Spent $46.00 for 2 and it was the worse meal ever. We still tipped the waitress $9.00 it wasn't her falr the kitchen was slow & they weren't even busy at 4:30PM. W e sat in booth across from counter I asked if coffee was fresh they said yes & 2 creamers wouldn't even lighten the color it was old, so I gave it back & got an unsweet ice tea. Was going to have New Chicken Salad with cucumbers & croutons but the crutons were hard as a brick so I didn't get that instead I ordered Mozzarella cheese sticks & a BLT with extra tomato, the bacon was burnt black, terrible sandwich. My husband ordered Chicken tenders they were over cooked. The biggest problem when I looked over to kitchen window the cook had hair to the tip of her shoulders flopping around & not even tied back plus not even a hair net. A big turn off!!! We've been at this Denny's quite often but the last 3 months it's cook leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure if we'll be back
