Delta Blues Hot Tamales

Great tamales! Good service! Great experience!

Probably the best restaurant in the Birmingham area that no one knows about. And sadly, this is its last day of operation. I wish the owners and staff the best for their future.

Ate there twice in 3 days. The "Hot Tamale" with kernel corn side was great. Second trip Jalapeño Queso Blanco dip, "Texan" with corn relish.

Delta Blues was a hidden gem we found on a whim as we stayed the night in Birmingham. Great live music and delicious food! Everything is prepared gluten free which is very good for people with Celiac disease. Food takes a bit to get to the table, but that’s probably because they’re making it fresh. Fried Catfish and fried pickles were delicious. The corn choux was not as good as I had hoped but everything else was top notch.
