Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse

Ordered the Chicken Sinatra on their menu but the chicken was over-cooked hard and tough. But the waitress immediately accommodated a dish change and the Chicken Marsala came out fine. I guess even the best restaurants screw up their dish once in a while. But hey, the restaurant ambience and service is great! (Don’t hesitate to let the chefs know when they screw up so they can course correct.)

Let me just start off by saying that all the food that I ate was very good. The staff was very friendly and I had a good time. With that being said one of my pieces of chicken was raw. Which is not cool. That is the last thing that should be raw and its pretty careless by the chefs. I would've gave this place 5 stars but that ruined it for me.

Visit 1: What an awesome experience. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. Will definitely be going back and trying the other locations! Visit 2: Downgrading previous review from 5 to a 4. Our first experience was amazing which makes tonights experience frustrating. Walked in - got seated - got ignored. Another table got seated after us and had a number of staff come over to chat with them... take their drinks and apps while we got ZERO service. This experience alone I would rate way lower than a 4 but the first experience was so good I am only lowering it by 1. We got up and left and not one staff member we walked past said a thing. Very disappointing visit.

Visited 5pm on a Saturday. They don't do reservations but do accept preferred seating - they don't guarantee you a seat , but if you have preferred seating for a specific time, you will go to the head of the line if there is a wait. We had Veal Marsala, NY Strip, Salmon, Filet Mignon, and the Delmonico steak and the cheese garlic bread appetizer (with wine & soda). Very pricey, but food was fantastic, though a little under-seasoned if I'm being picky. Portions were generous and I felt the value was good. For 2 adults and 3 teenage boys, we spent about $300 including tax and tip. Selection was Italian food only - didn't view the kids menu. No spaghetti, FYI, just angel hair, linguine, fettuccine, penne, rigatoni, & ziti. We may return, but that's a lot of money. Maybe leave the kids at home!

Delmonicos usually has delicious food. We go once or twice a year for special occasions. On 3/5/24 we had a party of 4. We ordered brushetta appetizer, it was completely cold, tons of tomatoes, no cheese, just not good. We all ordered filets, I ordered the filet portabella in cabernet sauce, which is what i normally get. But this time the mushroom cabernet sauce had chunks of tomatoes in it, i do not ever remember tomatoes in the mushroom cabernet sauce, it tasted totally different & not in a good way!! it came with angel hair pasta in garlic butter sauce. The filets were not properly cooked, medium requested, received several pieces that were basically raw. Everyone just took their food to go, so we could heat it up at home & have hot meal. The meals were all barely warm, cold to touch. very very disappointed in these meals. Manager was notified of issues. We all Got tiramasu dessert & it was delicious.
