Service was super slow even though there were only two tables when my husband and I went and I was offended by them serving a creme brulee that was actually soggy. HOW? The sugar was SOGGY and the custard was basically liquid. Truly offensive to creme brulee everywhere
Came in on a Wednesday night . We looked at a couple different restaurants menus this one seemed the best . There were items on the online menu that weren't on the menu which is typical so not a huge deal . Drinks were good our appetizer was good (bacon wrapped shrimp) the entrées were ok nothing amazing . Our server kept skipping our table and there was a long delay between drinks and our courses . The final nail in the coffin was when we ordered creme brulee. It wasn't set and it was soggy on top like they forgot they were making it . The annoying part was our waiter brought out two and gave a free one to the table next to us before their entrées I'm assuming because it was also not set . For a higher end alleged restaurant extremely disappointed.
They were great with everything!
Great, quiet place for a classy date night.
Oddly enough, I like Dakotah Steakhouse better. Delmonico did have a better atmosphere. They do add a living wage tax to bills before tip. Kind of weird when 5 people each ordered $75+ dollar steaks.
If you charge 60$ a steak you should make your own bread. If you are not making your own bread you should be able to defrost it and bake it until it's hot. If you are told the bread is frozen in the middle, you should make sure the second set of bread you bring out is warm in the middle. Also my friends 60$ medium rare ribeye was maybe medium but closer to medium well. Even Western sozzlin can cook a steak to temp. Do yourself a favor and don't over pay for pretentious food.
Amazing staff and way good prime rib!
