A bit of Irish ☘️ luck and I found this Gem 💎 of a bakery nearby. A kitchen you can see and actually smell the freshly baked goods. 🥇🥇 Service with a smile and enjoy your dessert 👍👍. Such a fantastic bake shop. Loved my blueberry pastry. Wanted more. The cheesecake looks amazing…

A beautiful place that delivers the best baked goods in all of NY. They also clearly value their employees and customers. I'm a longtime customer and all through Covid-19 they have taken extra care to keep everyone safe. That's dedication and I'm impressed by all the steps they've taken to both deliver the best possible product, but also keep their employees and customers safe.

** Disclaimer the baker is different than who it used to be. I say that because you can tell just by appearance. When my family and I tasted it we could definitely tell something was wrong. Cake had very dry texture and seemed stale.I added two photos one from my cousins party a few years ago which my whole family ate and loved and the other one is sadly my cake which my whole family also ate but were all extremely disappointed in. Me especially since it was my party and I was excited to get this cake like we had for my older cousin. We all talked about it for weeks and was a huge letdown when we tasted how bad it was.My brother called to complain and was told to bring the cake back when he did they said that there was they could do because of the portion missing. In addition while I was reading the reviews I noticed the manager has very poor professionalism with customers who are unhappy with their products. When there is a mistake you rectify it by issuing a refund. Cakes are very different than if you were to order form a restaurant, while you're eating you can tell the sever you don't like it and they can fix it. However a cake is for an event with multiple people and when the event is over you can't go back in time and redo it. Everyone at the event is going to take a piece of the cake thats why alot is missing. I didn't get the cake for myself. I don't understand why issuing a refund is so difficult for them to do. In another review the manager weighed the amount that the customer brought back. That's absolutely ridiculous. It seems that they want you to shove half eaten pieces into the box with everyone's germs on it and bring it to their counter which is unsanitary and utterly disgusting. Not to mention dangerous during Covid. If the customers make a point to complain and go out of their way to bring something back obviously there was a problem with it. Especially desserts. People love desserts. If the desserts were good there wouldn't be any to bring back in the 1st place. I don't know whats so hard for them to understand that.Worst part of this whole ordeal is the manager and owner did not even apologize for the poor product they served us. Instead just accused us of trying to ruin them and being friends with a former employee and that they must have put us up to bringing the cake back. We were obviously real customers and we were really disappointed. I hope they start to take some responsibility and listen their customers.***Eric the horrible manager just replied to my review. Again being a blind manger and not noticing that there are numerous people who have the SAME issues with their products. Your cakes are dry your professionalism is nonexistent and I can't wait until the day you guys close your doors. You're probably slowly on your way considering the recent reviews I SEE ON YOUR YELP AND GOOGLE REVIEWS which says the same thing your products suck so take responsibility or close your doors!!!

11/12/17...A family member pre-ordered a Baptism cake only to be horrified on the day of pick up and 3 hours prior to the event. While a photo of the cake to be duplicated was provided to Delite, it appeared the cake was decorated by a blindfolded 3 year old. From the icing to the obscured alleged crucifix to the fat, sloppy letters...one disappointment after another. This was a religious event not a backyard barbecue which the cake wasn't good enough for anyway. When I called Delite to discuss the disastrous creation, I requested to speak to the owner and the girl who answered the phone told me the "owner's name is Benito" but I could not speak to him because "he's never" at the bakery. She put me on hold and a rude, disrespectful, nasty, angry, belligerent and confrontational person named Richard answered claiming to be "the manager and the owner." He was snapping and raising his voice and eventually said, "Bring it back and I'll refund your money!" When I asked his full name, he barked, "ME! RICHARD ME!" Then I asked why the girl who answered the phone told me the owner is Benito yet Richard claims ownership of Delite. He stayed quiet so I said, "Helloooo, besides your lack of customer service, your employees are liars too?" Richard answered, "Yes, yes they are." At that point, I'm looking around for hidden cameras because I'm completely dumbfounded and speechless by the outright disgusting and immature behavior of somebody who sounds like a grown man and claims to own this business, somebody who should assume responsibility for that hideous cake which created an enormous inconvenience and somebody who should offer a solution instead of childish sarcasm. Refunding the money was not a solution with the Baptism 3 hours away but Richard Me didn't seem to care. I could be wrong but I think Richard Me needs a new profession. He never offered an apology or even a lame explanation. He sounded annoyed and inconvenienced that I had the audacity to complain about the cake and that was evident in his tone and lack of customer service skills.I was surprised to learn the cake had been ordered at Delite and my immediate response was, "Delite!? Why!?" My concern was dismissed because the cake was already ordered and paid for. However, Delite was not asked to imagine what the cake should look like, a photo was provided. If it was too difficult then it should have been made clear so we could go elsewhere or be better prepared for the embarrassing slop they whipped up.About 45 minutes before we had to be in the church we went to the closest place, Riviera Bakery in Ardsley, NY. Even though we had to settle, Mia and the manager at Riviera came through and the emergency cake was 100 times better looking than the special order from Delite. I gave Delite Bakery 1 star because 0 stars is not an option; they deserve a big, fat, embarrassing, sloppy ZERO! NEVER AGAIN! Delite Bakery in Yonkers, NY is dead to us!11/14/17...FOLLOW UP to END the DELITE BAKERY NIGHTMARE: Today, we took the cake back to Delite Bakery. Richard was at the register and one of the girls behind the counter asked if she could help. Before any words even left my mouth, Richard raised his hand and began waving it over his head as if to shoo us away. He shouted to the girl (in front of customers and the woman standing at his register) "Just give them their money back! I think it was $39." I said, "No. It was $59.90." The girl behind the counter gave me 3 twenty dollar bills. I thanked her and we left.Richard is highly skilled at displaying pure ignorance and he is 100% bankrupt of good business and customer service skills as suspected. Between Sunday morning and today, he never once apologized for the bakery's mistake. In fact, in the store and on the phone and upon returning the cake on Tuesday, Richard seemed genuinely irritated and agitated...every single time. A decent business owner would have offered a substitute cake, especially since it was for an event that same day in 3 hours and this predicament was Delite's fault. At the very least, a decent business owner would have offered an apology. RIP Delite Bakery in Yonkers, NY.
