This is the closest del taco to my home and I used to frequent it all the time. It has seriously gone downhill service wise. It is so slow. Over the past year I've started skipping it and going to farther away del tacos. Every time I go back, I'm disappointed. I went a couple evenings ago around 930pm. I waited at the empty drive thru for a few minutes without getting helped. I honked a couple times. Finally, I drove to the window and the last was standing up leaning against the counter scrolling up and down on her phone. I honked again and she didn't look up. I went next door to another restaurant.

One of the employees on hand doesn't understand the two for seven classic burrito mix and match. The employee tried to charge me, as if I was getting 2 of each burrito, instead of one of each. They argued what two for seven meant incorrectly. What the break down in training and communication was became evident, when I looked at the receipt with the charges added, then removed, where you can clearly see the burritos time two. I wonder how many customers order two burritos and pay for four, instead of canceling their order, like I did. It's in a Shell station, with only outside seating, so no dine in, which is not ideal with the majority hot weather. The service was a little slow, but one employee later at night, it's whatever. The chocolate shake was fine and as expected. I know it's not Del Taco's fault, I hadn't been able to eat dinner and really needed a meal, health wise, but it made the situation that much worse.
