Always a pleasure to get me some empanadas! Yummy, portable, good ingredients.
Second time trying Del Sur, first time at Malcolm Yards. The crust is light and flakey. The inner is hot and flavor.
The empanadas are good but not wonderful, a little bit expensive for empanadas and desserts, but I want a treat. I have to say there are always fresh. They are friendly people but never go above and beyond. They limit their service for what you ask, if you don't like it or they make a mistake, It's your problem, not them. Last time I ordered to go, including desserts, my mistake I didn't check, I pay for 12 empanadas and 4 desserts, when I got back home 25 minutes drive, no desserts and just 11 empanadas , really expensive . I went back and complained. They told me they couldn't do anything, no money back, or gave me the missing part of my order. They said you have to check your order before you go. customer service minus 5 December 2023, I tried it again . This time, dine in. When the owner took your order, everything was perfect . But still no refund to the order they messed up. Then the service is still 3 Dietary restrictions: Gluten free empanadas
The best empanadas in the Twin Cities.
I wasnt the biggest fan of this restaurants food. To me it tasted a bit too americanized for my liking. I also only tried a couple items off the menu but both were fairly mid. Although I saw many people order and I guess they liked it, so give one a try at least!
The empanadas were soooo good.
Catered birthday party. Empanadas were excellent. Presentation and delivery were on point. Will use again. Dietary restrictions: We were able to have gluten free along with the other regular empanadas.
