Truly enjoyed my experience at this establishment, the food was absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor , if your look for a quick bite to eat please don’t hesitate to stop by and experience this for your self

Amazing Peach Cobb Drink, Decadent Wings and Fried Green Tomatoes! Simply delicious!

My family and I were there for their first karaoke night.....it was a blast. As far as the food I had the decadent wings which were amazing and the fried green tomatoes are to die for. I'm totally looking forward to going again

This place is nice in terms of appearance but the food isn’t worth the money you spend. As person who makes most of these dishes at home, when I came here I was excited to see new flares and ideas but when I came in the food was bland and flavorless and the portions were terrible. People who enjoy their food haven’t had real southern cuisine or are just lazy. There is a long time for service, few workers, and the food isn’t good. After taking my son here because I am visiting him from NOLA, I went to the store and bought the ingredients myself and remade the dishes to show them how they should taste. I’m sorry but this place doesn’t deserve patronage at any capacity. One of our worst nights on food week. If anyone in Chicago likes this place then ask them this, when was the last time they were south? Because this food doesn’t hit the mark. I wanted to like this place because it seems Black owned but sometimes our own people hit the mark. From the bottom of my soul I hope this establishment doesn’t make it past the first quarter there is absolutely no redemption for their food. And if you are reading this don’t go here. Even if you go here and don’t hate it you will feel like money wasted and never want to return. People who like this restaurant have limited experience with this cuisine. Please Chicago stop messing up southern restaurants in your tourists areas. There is worse food but trust from a southern cook it’s not worth it.

I came here with my siblings for restaurant week and our dinner was delightful! We tried so many dishes and had a hard time choosing our favorites. The shrimp and grits was perfect, and the toffee pudding was highlight. I found out they serve coffee during the day, so I’ll definitely be back!

We stopped in this Friday afternoon for a sweet treat and Decadent did not disappoint. We enjoyed their dark chocolate shortbread and a brownie skillet. Both were worth it! Server was polite and took care of us. Pleasant visit.

I took my mom here for dinner. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We had a reservation for upstairs. But when we arrived, the upstairs area was closed. We ordered wings, shrimp and fried tomatoes for apps. The wings were amazing! Shrimp had great flavor. I wasn’t a fan of the tomatoes. For my entree, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with soup. I tried to order Another soup for my mom, but was told no because there was no way to order it in the app. I asked if I could just pay for something else to get the soup and was also told no. The worker was pleasant, but I think that should have been handled better. They literally have soup for sell that you can’t buy. Anyways, I really disliked the sandwich. My mom enjoyed her salad. And the drinks were top notch. I may give this place another chance in the future. Maybe I’ll have a better experience with breakfast/brunch.

I have been here before for just dessert and cocktails, but went today for their restaurant week dinner special and some cocktails. The food and drinks were delicious and service is always very friendly.
