They had mess up my food I had order jibarta sandwich they only serve me meat only and the rice is not to good smh I will not go again I had went there in 2/16/2024

“ We serve good food not fast food” a perfect motto for this place. Amazing rice and gandules and a Cubano to die for. Making the trip from suburbs to here was well worth it. From the owner to the staff they were all very friendly and accomadating. A place worth going to for amazing service and fantastic food

It was the best jibarito I've had in a long time; the food was flavorful, and there was excellent service; you can tell the owner loves what she does.

Came here for lunch today and honestly it did not disappoint! Highly recommend! Best Rican/Cuban place hands down. Alberto was very friendly and checked in to make sure everything tasted delicious. Ordered the bistec encebollado and lechón sandwich and the flavors were amazing.The coconut flan was out of this world! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for the great experience!

The hype is real. This place is amazing.

I ordered take out overall my favorite steak sandwich I've had in Chicago so far, use to be marrianos on Armtige and anyone who's grown up here knows that's a great spot but this one just topped it off, the yuca was great not traditional to what I've had but great quality and tasty the congri rice was the best congri rice I've ever ate delicious I could wat a plate of that alone. The only thing I change is a tad bit less vinegar in the steak it was great for the sandwich but with the plate it was over powering. I'm more then positive she makes her own mayo because I've never had such a tasty mayo was really savory loved it, the service was great I called has questions they weren't at all frustrated with me or in a hurry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I had such a wonderful experience eating here. The Cuban food was authentic and there was a nice balance between Cuban and Puerto Rican options. The customer service was also above and beyond and truly connecting with the owner will leave me coming back. Even without that connection, his food was so good I would have been back regardless. I tried so many things I truly recommend everything on the menu. The besitos were new to me So I would start there!
