Excellent authentic Puerto Rician food.

Great food, great service.

This restaurant is probably great for locals but not so much if you're not a Spanish speaker or just visiting from a cruise, etc. We ate here because it seemed authentic and has pretty good ratings. First we waited in line outside for almost 30 minutes, apparently because the restaurant is always busy. Once inside, there are no physical menus, just a board which was only in Spanish and also has no prices so we really had no idea what to order. I'd recommend looking at pictures people posted in other reviews but make sure to find several different items you're interested in since the menu changes daily and when I pointed to pictures, I was told that wasn't being served that day. I ordered a drink from the bar but our food came out and still no drink so I had to ask for it again. I don't recall our server's name but it was a guy who made some effort to describe the menu. He brought out food out, which was quite good, and then didn't return until we were almost ready to leave. Maybe they were understaffed that day?

Absolutely do NOT go here. We waited an hour for our food. Rude waitstaff who rolled their eyes when asked if we could have more time to think about our orders. They do not have a menu - they recite the options for the day. HOWEVER this means they do not tell you the price (unless you ask, which luckily we did). They take advantage of tourists here. We were warning guests waiting to be seated (they make you wait outside) to leave because we were seated by the door. Dietary restrictions: I’ve been gluten free for nine years. One of the waitresses asked if I could have flour when I told her :)

DO NOT COME HERE! This restaurant is absolutely horrible. My group of five waited 2 HOURS for our food. Service is horrible. Overpriced cocktails. I wish they had warned us about the wait time at least. Their food is also very much mediocre. Rice was hard to chew and the pasteles barely had any meat in them.

Food was fine, but not worth the long (nearly 2 hour) wait. Waitress told us we were next when it came to the food, 3 tables got their food before us. Don't come here unless you like to wait long for mid food :)

Not worth the wait. Force you to wait outside. No menu, waiters just list off options. Waited two hours for mediocre food. Find somewhere else nearby please. There are tons of spots around.
