Got a family pack to go. BBQ ribs and pulled pork were good enough. Chicken was EXTREMELY dry and disappointing. Sides were excellent and really saved the day ( Mac n cheese, beans n sausage , slaw with blue cheese ) ! Would return for sure.
Get bartending great food Parking: Good
We live 90 min. From dead end. When we go to UT or the airport this is our go to. WONDERFUL Vegetarian options: My diet is limited but there are plenty of options. My husband is a meat lover but he ordered 3 two dollar veggies and decided he did not give vegetables a fair chance.
1st time at Dead End, we were far from disappointed. The service was absolutely amazing, Lilly did a fantastic job with our party of 25! The food was not only delicious but very plentiful. We will be going back. If you're in Knoxville and have a hankering for great BBQ, head to Dead End BBQ, and you won't be disappointed!
Can't say much about the atmosphere as we had a pick-up order. The lady who brought our food to us was very polite. We had the pulled pork, burnt ends, smoked bologna, Mac n chz and potato salad. The burnt ends were very flavorful and tender 8.5/10. Pulled pork had a nice flavor without the sauce, the sauce was a nice addition 7/10. We all really enjoyed the bologna and the mustard that came with it, highly recommend 9/10. Mac n chz was very cheesy and the biggest fight during dinner 9.5/10. Now the potato salad was our least favorite part of the meal. Flavor wise it just seemed flat and a bit dry. Could've been an off day but as of right now 3/10. Overall I would go back, especially for the burnt ends and smoked bologna.
I ordered the brisket salad and it was delicious!
Finally got there. Ate the Mac & cheese w/ burnt ends. Fantastic food. May be best BBQ in Knoxville!
