We LOVED the experience! Everyone was friendly and kind, the food(specifically the NOT chicken cauliflower bites) were AMAZING, the fries were super flavorful, and the environment was nice and clean! I highly recommend others come here! I also recommend people try the NOT chicken cauliflower burgers/bites! I love that this place is balancing meat lovers AND vegans! Vegetarian options: As I said, love that there is an amazing vegan option! The cauliflower bites were super flavorful and crispy!

This restaurant in particular recently changed its sign from Dave's Hot Chicken to Dave's Not Chicken. I'm a vegetarian, and I was excited, hoping I'd found a genuinely good vegetarian substitute for fried chicken. This is not that. First, they were unprepared for someone to actually order the meat substitute. I had to wait in the parking lot a bit over 20 minutes after ordering in the drive through. The vegetarian options are also almost 50% more expensive, which you won't see on the drive through menu. Two meals and one drink came out to about $40. The food itself was very disappointing. The texture of the battered, fried cauliflower was good, but the seasoning was unimpressive. The batter mostly tasted like sweetened Hot Cheetos, but even Hot Cheetos have a more refined suite of flavors. There was mostly only mild sweetness and a burning sensation like chemically isolated capsaicin. If other flavors were present, the strikingly bold flavors of cauliflower and cornmeal overpowered them entirely. Clearly, some people like this seasoning on their chicken. I very much do not like it on cauliflower. Finally, to cap it off, I'm writing this review as I drift back off to sleep at nearly 3:00 AM because this meal maliciously woke me up just before the witching hour. It needed to be violently exorcised from my body. The fries were pretty good. Vegetarian options: Signature seasoning of this restaurant does not work well for its vegetarian options.

The signage caught my attention. The chicken will bring me back. For $17.68 I got a large chicken tender, fries, slider and a beverage. I ordered Medium heat. All very good. My only complaint is the time it took to get my order. But I will go back.
