DaTang BBQ & Beer Restaurant

I have been eating here multiple times, at least once a month since they open. We only come for the all you can eat times tho. They have non all you can eat time at certain hours. The foods and service are consistently great so far. Price is great. Waiters are quite attentive, our empty plate always get picked up fast. They also give one time ice cream, but you gotta ask.

Staff: most of them friendly but the one who were helping us was so rude. He was so lazy to split the check so he lied that the machine is so old and it doesn't split checks. And when my brother was paying he put a wrong tip amount so when the receipt came out the guy made fun of us so loudly in mandarin thinking that we don't understand. I genuinely wanted to pay more tip because I liked the food so i asked him if we can pay more tip and it was a mistake. I paid more than 20% because i wanted to make up for him. But he left with a rude face and not even a thank you. I really hate the place now and i will never go there again. What is the matter if the food is good and the service is horrible. So many restaurants serve good food with nice staff. I will never go there again. Don't recommend.

I have some mixed feelings about this place, I can tell the owner puts lot of thoughts in designing this place, but it is too bright and flashy. With its huge LED TV on the wall and tons of LED lights , I feel a bit overwhelmed and uncomfortable. The food is very average here. The portion they dish out is very small as well. For 4 adults, they gave us one piece of pork belly and very little beef. Vegetarian options: Don't come here if you are a vegetarian.

It is one of the few reasonable BBQ restaurants these days. Service and food are good. The neon lights are so funny. Ther is a big Chinese word made of neon light next to the washroom. The meaning is "get rich"! LOL. They also do all you can eat in the afternoon now.

The shift to AYCE is a huge plus. However, the meat quality is pretty average. If you are looking for high quality beef, I wouldn’t say this is the place to go. AYCE price is relatively reasonable.
