We have been served by JJ, he is very attentive, customer focused, observant, he is seeing what the customer will need and acts before you even ask. My mum dropped something on her top he came from nowhere with a wet wipe before we even ask. Great service

Nice food but the service is slow

The service from entering was poor overall. On entering it was busy and we requested a certain empty table that we had to wait to be cleaned. After being shown to the table, after a wait we had to attract someone’s attention to serve us. On ordering the server didn’t know what a gluten free allergy meant nor what Earl Grey was. The drinks and cakes arrived quickly. However, on waiting to pay at the desk there was utter chaos and there was some wait. The bill was presented, I confirmed that was the right amount. I tapped my card and began to leave. A scene was created in front of other customers as I was leaving as I was accused of ‘not paying’. On return to the counter I was told I hadn’t paid. Opening the wallet on my phone I showed that a payment had been made. It became clear that the assistant had only charged me £10 not the £16.23 which was on the bill. After further discussion of ‘not paying’ I explained that I had been undercharged by £6.23. I paid the remaining balance. No apology was made for a something that was embarrassing.

Whenever I feel homesick, I come straight here, the food, the atmosphere, the workers, all amazing especially for the price. I recommend this restaurant/cafe to anyone and everyone from all backgrounds even if you’re just going for a coffee or tea, it really is worth the visit.

Wonderful atmosphere..space a little tight i felt but all in all a lovely pleasant place to visit!!

Lovely place to have a bite to eat when visiting Birmingham. The atmosphere is calm and Arabian. We had the Lamb and Beef shawarma, turkish coffee, Jus Mush and the one that is like pizza. All the food was above average, however, if you like quantity, their servings are a little small. However, even though we like to eat a lot, we wanted something light for breakfast so this was perfect. Food is authentic and lovely. Definitely recommended
