Daldongnae Korean BBQ

Food was delicious and fresh tasting. The servers were attentive and kind. The tables and chairs were clean however more attention could be made to cleaning of walls and floors in service area as well as washrooms which were quite dirty.

The food and initial service was fine. But the oil and leftover food bits on the grill got really hot and popped which landed on my finger, leaving a first- degree burn :( Told the server and the first server put some polysporn on it. When I asked for a bandaid while grabbing the bill the second server mumbled and asked me to pay first, but never came back with a bandaid or told me where to get one. Wish there was some sort of acknowledgement or first aid for the lack of grill temperature checks that led to the injury/scar . Probably will stay away from kbbq for a while…

We came to Daldongnae to celebrate my birthday. We made reservations in advance as we came with a group of 6 people. The restaurant had a space prepared for us so there was almost no wait time when we got in. We ordered some appetisers and drinks like the seafood pancake, kinchi fried rice, and the mango soju cocktail. Then we ordered a variety of meat and enjoyed our shared meal. The servers came by to change our grill and replace our side dishes whenever we called out for assistance. But we would have appreciated it if they checked in more frequently without us having to call for them.

i loveeee Daldongnae and i have been going for years and i have been to every location but this location just threw me off because of the service. No water refilled, side dishes took so long to come. One of the waitress gave us a really annoyed look. We felt invisible because the other table beside us was getting all the things they needed instantly. This was around 11pm and it was not busy at all. Great food but we did not have a great time at all.

We had such a good dinner here I absolutely recommend it. We went 4 adults, two toddlers and two babies and they accommodate us to be as comfortable as we could with all the kid stuff you have to carry with you. They also brought plates for kids and booster chair for baby. The service is excellent,they are always going from table to table to make sure everything is working, changing the temperature of the bbq if needed, bringing more sides, etc. And the food, wow, the meat is so good! I’ll say you need to reserve in advance because at 6:30pm was totally full.

Been here a handful of times. Food is good quality however it is on the expensive side. The service has been hit or miss.

Service is so bad. Very arrogant when talking to customers

Really good food, ruined by the service. I asked for hot water and the waiter brought me tea, set it down in front of me, and straight up told me, "hot water." I'm allergic to certain tea leaves, so I really wish they just told me that they didn't have hot water. Needless to say, we were also charged for the "hot water". Not coming here again. Sorry, but good food doesn't make up for deceptive service.
