Tried 2 different and they were very good one of the better breweries in town
Dakota point is a favorite of mine. The location is great and the bartenders are very friendly. They have a huge selection of beer. Great place to unwind and meet new people. Thank you for running a clean honest business in the black hills!
Being new to Rapid City, we have tried numerous breweries in the area and Dakota Point is fast becoming one of our favorites. First they offer quite a large variety of beer for any type of drinker that walks through the door. On top of that if you do not like beer they have wine and also make their own in house soda and change up the flavor frequently like when we were there they had an orange flavored soda. Almost forgot they also have beer mixers like a beer-mimosa which was definitely delicious. The space is also really nice and large so it doesn’t feel too cramped when it gets busy. The decorations are festive and fun and they have tvs with sports or movies playing. One of the nights we went out they were hosting a trivia night and fair warning - some of the questions were definitely a challenge. Even though we didn’t win we still had such a great time. They also offer a few bar snacks like pretzels and popcorn that you can snack on while you drink. The building itself located in has multiple business that are pretty neat like nerdy nuts and poutry pottery. The bathrooms are shared with the building and clean.
Great atmosphere. Very solid beers, would definitely be my regular if I lived here
Great options, friendly and knowledgeable, will sell you any of their beer in the 32 oz can.
Being originally from "Beer City USA," it was refreshing to find a brewery with excellent, tasty beers in Rapid City. The Russian Stout, V, was an amazing dark full of flavor. We had them at the brewery and took some home, too. The bartender was personable and attentive, chatting with us when he could since we sat at the bar. We also met the brewmaster and thanked him for his crafting abilities. Overall, it was the best brewery experience we had in Rapid City.
Just walked out without purchasing any because there are no TV's to watch but a picture frame TV? No wonder no one shows here
