Ron Burger and fried pickles. Duh.

We had burgers that I thought were overcooked. Mine was hard to chew. I had turnip greens as a side that were delicious. Parking: The parking lot entry needs work. A lot of elderly people go there. We are not always sure on our feet.

I've been meaning to stop in here for years and finally did today. It is wonderful. We started with house made onion rings, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks. Excellent onion Rings. I had the fork tender chicken fried steak and she the chicken tenders. The sides, of fresh mashed potatoes and mustard greens were perfect. Fresh housemade cream gravy was seasoned well and didn't even need black pepper. Savory cornbread, not that sweet stuff... My only regret was getting the hush puppies, found out after we were done eating that, they too are housemade. I will be back, so I will get them.

Food was barely warm. Chicken fried steak was mostly batter. Broccoli and rice was mostly rice. No cheese.

Great food in a down-home atmosphere

Great little hole in the wall in the heart of Riverside Texas. Always great food at affordable prices.
