It's dairy queen, kids running a drive through. It is what it is.
I was planning on ordering a small blizzard with my meal, so I asked if I could do a blizzard as the drink with a combo. I was told yes, but with a slight upcharge, but my receipt said I paid full price for the combo and a medium blizzard separately, not a combo with an upcharge. I wouldn’t have ordered a medium if I’d been told I couldn’t use the blizzard as the drink. My sister’s chili cheese dog came without cheese.
My first job was a DQ member for 6 years. I can tell they care about speed of service, but the quality is a bit lacking - Blizzards with ice cream mess all down the side is not how they should be served. Parking: It's a very tight parking lot and drive thru easily backs up into the street.
Fairly large group came in, my daughter ordered a chocolate heath blizzard received an Oreo. Was told by the manager her friend must have it and to go get it from them. She went out to swap and none of her friends had it. Unfortunately she can’t eat gluten so she didn’t get ice cream. Maybe management should make sure to fix the problem instead of blaming the customer. Really missed the mark. I spoke with manager and she offered a replacement of course they are closed so it would have to be another day. Doesn’t really help tonight when she was out with her friends. I’ll make sure to go somewhere else on principle next time.
Always love a cotton candy blizzard!
Always fast, friendly, and delicious.
I've been visiting this DQ for decades (~2 decades lol). The area around it has changed a lot but this establishment remains the same. The entire decor has seemingly never changed and I don't mind. The seating area is clean and the stained glass chandelier is awesome. The drive thru is a little wonky and it's on a busy road but be patient and enjoy your ice cream!
