This place seems a little shady now. They dont list their name on the receipts just the address , they never got around to accepting Food Stamps again and wont make an effort to. They dont give discounts, their sandwiches changed ingredients from their last location and are not fresh half the time. They dont offer coupons or specials. There is almost no incentive to shop here anymore.
Maybe the best co-op in the country, maybe the world, could be the universe.
The prices were in my opinion higher than a larger grocery store, however they had a lot of organic items and new items that I haven’t seen at other grocery stores. The customer service was fine from what I can tell I was spoken to by one staff member. They have a deli for you to order from so I was surprised by that. Overall just wanted to go in to see how it was.
Truly the only Daily fresh gluten-free, organic, vegan...vegetarian offering in one location in the Classic City...on a Daily basis. Recently relocated from Cobbham area to now very near Piedmont Athens/Normaltown with expanded offerings!
The layout is much improved from the old location but be careful or you might mistake basil for spinach
I will be sure to never "Experience" remotely like this place.... I am not interested in having to "take out a loan" as mentioned in a review posted... Clearly if you live in Poverty or below Poverty, you will NOT buy anything at all...
The new store is fabulous.
Love the convenience of a truly walkable neighborhood grocer! Prices are a bit elevated but the quality of the brands they carry is top-notch. Think “high end” items at convenience prices. The pre-made section is a big draw, too, since we have Athentic Brewing literally next door so you can plan your next pairing for a fun evening out.
Fresh...gluten free...including locally (Georgia) grown/sourced delectables(e.g.... Milk from SW Georgia, Honey from the Georgia mountains(OK... high hills) region, local Blueberries and locally batched Chocolates and Coffee! Locally veggies too!!
