I was sad when Cho Dang closed, but they have temporarily moved to this location since they are owned by the same folks I heard. I love their seafood pancake and soon tofu!
9/20/23: about 2:10 pm. Restaurant about empty. Nobody Korean looks at me, so obviously no greeting nor eye contact. Then a Hispanic busboy was sent to my table, who asks, “Want tea”. No offer of Oksusu-cha, and when I ask a steel cup with ice falling off the rim is brought. I ask a question about bibimbap & house specialty, the poor kid struggles with answers. NO KOREAN, except dealing with White & Korean/ Asian tables. I wasn’t dressed like a bum: to the contrary Designer Jacket/ Glasses SO ALL I CAN THINK IS MY COLOR & FACE. Da Maat if you do not like Indians then post a sign! I left but insults like this destroy reputation and business because there’s no forgiving Racism.
The original Da Maat is closed and moved to the corner unit with different name , it’s newly renovated, good side dishes , but the tofu soup is slightly off compare to the last time visited .
