Wonderful place, food and staff !! We will be back !!!
Noisy. Poor for conversations. Fun meet up place for family. Some food was hot n some was not. Overall food was a hit or miss for our group. My plate was satisfying. Squash casserole could have been warmer but it was edible. Parking was hit or miss. Needed a handicapped space which we couldn't find but did have an empty space in front of store. No ramps tho.
The sausage and kraut are my absolute favorite and the fried squash is a must have when you go! If you're in the mood for something sweet, the strawberry rhubarb pie is my favorite!
The lady at the front who is cashiering is fantastic! I never been there and she helped me order, gave me examples of everything, and even let me taste some of their wonderful sauerkraut! She deserves a raise the pierogies and the chick fries I ordered were unbelievable! I'll be back.
We were given a friendly greeting upon walking in. Our server was sweet and attentive. We really enjoyed the food (I've been looking for pierogies) and when our server brought me a slice of chocolate pie... it was still warm from being recently made. It's a bit of a drive but worth going back.
Small town southern atmosphere. With a twist of Czech-American flavor. Friendly people and welcoming staff.
My favorite place and favorite people. A must stop every time I’m in West.
A great small town restaurant. Home cooking with Czech options that won't disappoint. Don't forget to try the homemade meringue pies.
