Cutler's Restaurant and Bunch of Grapes Tavern

I have eaten here before about a year ago when I was in town and the service the food choices and quality were all excellent. It's connected to the hotel and is highly recommended.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food however was for show. Everything we had was very bland. You would think there was no seasonings in the kitchen at all. For the price of everything here I'd hope flavor would be prioritized over presentation. Unfortunately we had our eyes fed not our mouths. Our waitress was very professional and not overbearing and overall service was some of the best we've had. Come here for the vibe and the drinks maybe not the food.

Pub dinner was excellent! Everything was great. They have updated their menu somewhat lately.

Tasty food. Cosy environment. Next time I stay in Athens/Ohio I will visit again and will also recomment to my colleagues.

My lunch date and I stopped in for our first time dining at Cutler's. It was a nice quiet and clean atmosphere, with good service and food. I neglected to get pictures, but I had a burger and she had a Reuben, and we were both pleased with the portion size, temperature, and flavor. So many places have too loud of music, but this was quite peaceful. (Just after 11am on a Friday, we don't tend to got out to eat when places are busy if we can avoid it) We plan to return.

Beautiful place, great menu. Portions are big. I'm sure it normally is great overall, but every drink I ordered took much too long, 15 plus minutes all three times, even ordered wine for dinner so that it could simply be poured instead of mixed, still took over 15 min. Wasn't busy either. There was gristle in my blackened med rare filet as well. My server was great, attentive and apologetic for the bar service. Will most likely try it again, but not happy with the first visit.

Food was outstanding as well as service. Bloody Mary needs a little help it pretty much tomato juice and vodka. But still really enjoyed.
