Clean, cafeteria styled open decor. Extremely slow paced ambience. Experienced staff needs to retune their skills. Hopefully they will mature.

The food was pretty good with decent price. Especially the Hainanese chicken and satay beef !! I’ve been there couple times, the service was good , clean and good vibe. Definitely will be back soon .

Curry house has amazing food! I have been going here almost everyday for lunch and it’s always consistent and good. Their homestyle , curry beef stew and pork chop are my favorite.

Curry House, Manhattan NYC- Kind of skeptical when I first walked into this restaurant. I have to be honest here, probably my last 15-20 visits to Malaysian restaurants have been mediocre at best and some were really disappointed. There are overly sweet, under seasoned and used of spices & herbs, lack of the basic characteristic of Malaysian cuisine and shortcuts…..”Americanized” in one word. You can’t just throw in some chilies, lemongrass, limes, coconut milk, spices, herbs and call it Malaysian. They need to be spicy, sweet, sour, rich, well balanced of spices and herbs….. and this place has it all. We were lucky enough to meet the owner Jennifer, a warm, friendly, caring and deep knowledge of Malaysian foods. Her celebratory Lunar New Year dish recommendations were beyond spectacular especially the “Lo Hei” prosperity salad. You can taste the texture from all different kind of vegetables, colorful, tantalizing, well presented and served with a sweet, sour and salty plum dressing on the side to drizzle in as you toss it….. It’s a very well composed salad and you can see and taste all the labor they put into it. Scrumptious! All the dishes that we ordered were delicious and beyond our expectations! Highly recommended!

Portion was small for the price paid

Came here while doing a Chinatown food tour. Stopped in for mainly chicken satay and also ordered roti canai. The chicken on the chicken satay was so juicy and delicious however the flavors of the peanut-flavored satay sauce were lacking the spices I am normally used to. However the roti canai was out of this world. The roti was fluffy and flakey. The curry chicken had a special curry taste that is delicious. It was so good, we ordered from the main menu a to-go order of the curry chicken. We ate it for lunch the next day with some Roti we have in the house. If you’re looking for Malaysian food, this is your place!

Delicious curry with chicken and the crepe -type bread which was served with it was really yummy!
