The taste is 5/5. If you want Asian food, then it’s a good option.
So, I'll start by saying that I never write reviews. Secondly, I did not order this takeout, my partner did last night for his dinner. He was out trying to pickup Chinese takeout, but they were all closing. We've always been curious and often see this Pakastani Curry restaurant driving by on Scottsdale Rd., so he decided to stop in and order takeout. Keeping in mind, what I tasted tonight was leftovers.... and the fact that I'm a chef and love to cook international cuisine (Nigerian, Thai, Japanese, etc).... THIS FOOD IS AMAZING. Full disclosure, I've only tried this one dish (so far) and it was day-old leftovers. I had to go to their website to find the name of the dish just so I could write this review: Nehari I learned, just now, that Nehari is a Pakastani beef dish that they stew overnight. It is LOADED with flavor and just the right level of spice. It is on the hotter/spicier side, but if in the mood - chef's kiss. The rice and naan, also good, but the gravy... and the beef - yes, WOW. And it was leftovers?? I'm still a bit mind blown.
Old and run down and food certainly did not taste great (as advertised by triple D). Also, service was horrible and I got my naan bread, after I had already eaten my meal. I would not come back here, there are better Indian restaurants around.
Favorite food place in Tempe and I like Indian food this holds its own and is easily half the price of anywhere else
Found a metal piece in biryani
Ordered garlic Naan, samosa ,Raita and Dal fry . Naan was firstly served COLD then took it for redo and then also not at an all cooked (uncooked) dal was excellent , raita was just served in very very small qty. like chutni/sauce. over all experience not good . Really Disappointed.
Found this place due to one of Mark Weins’s videos. If you’ve never been, go get the nihari!! Every single thing i ordered was delicious, but still, make sure to get the nihari
