Got outstanding seats during car show and music. Beer great. Service friendly and quick despite huge crowd. Food good. Friend said hamburger was great. My steak sandwich had very thin slice of meat and too much blue cheese. Truffle fries very good. Would go back.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service.
Chill spot. Food is good. Make sure to go for the chips with your meal. Nice beer selections. A little pricey
They're great as long as they aren't busy. If they're busy they have a hard time managing the flow. Wouldn't allow me to sit alone at a table (#capatilism) so I happily put my name down to wait for a seat at the bar. After waiting about 15 minutes some rando takes the bar seat when it comes open and all the brunette at the front could do is say sorry with a snide tone and look when i ask about it. Not sure if I'll come back and if i do it will not be during an event in the village. It was one of my favorites in La Mesa village, but service matters even (and especially) when you're busy. My recommendation is to go elsewhere when the village has events. .
We had been there last Thursday, the owner or manager Brenda was very rude, we sat in the bar area and was told we couldn’t sit there and had to go check in at the front, however the people sitting next to us had sat down right before us and got to sit down without having to check in, that’s was the complaint the second complaint is we had to get out of our seat after 90 minutes. More than likely will be the last time I go there. Thanks to Brenda.
Been here a few times- each time has been great. Took out of town guests this time
Food was cold. Beer was watered down. Pretty expensive for average food.
Fun place to have a drink with friends. Especially on Fridays when they shut down the the road and open it up to booths. Fun times.
