Cumin Restaurant

We've been going to Cumin for years. The food is excellent, and the people are super friendly. It's hidden away behind The Flamingo Hotel and may be overlooked because there is a higher profile Indian restaurant just down the street. But we like the food much better at Cumin, and they always make you feel very welcome there. I generally order the Dal Makhani and my spouse orders the Shrimp Vindaloo, with orders of Naan and basmati rice of course. Vegetarian options: Indian restaurants are generally always a good option for vegetarians. This restaurant is no exception. Plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans.

Nice restaurant, amazing food! The staff was really welcoming even though we were few mins late after the closing time. But, the person at reception was really sweet and made sure we had good time there. Appreciate it!!

Excellent lunch today. We sat outside so we didn't fill the inside restaurant with our noisy conversation, and had the place to ourself. I asked if they did lamb saag, and he said it was not on the menu but he would do it for me anyway. It was delicious! So was my friend's shrimp dish, the fried rice, and the papadums. I was wearing a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) and watched to see how much damage the rice would do. It wasn't too bad at all, so I'll be coming here again, as the quality of the food was excellent.

In my humble opinion the best Indian food in Santa Rosa. The guys working the restaurant are all very friendly and helpful. It’s a simple restaurant that’s very much hidden away. I’ve had a variety of curries and found them to be very good. I haven’t tried any tandoori dishes. Definitely will be back again to dine in. Prices are very reasonable.

Delicious food! The flavors are strong and the spicy levels are reliable. The malai kofta and chicken vindaloo were my favorites.

Very good Indian food in Santa Rosa which has a real lack of good Indian food. Cumin is the exception and each time we visit the food is consistently of high quality and great flavors. It remains our go to for Indian food in SR.
