Have dined at this CD location many times, but the most recent visit was beyond subpar. We had lunch there for my MIL's bday, and while we experienced stellar service initially, after about 15min, everything seemed to unravel. Food - one in our party has a gluten allergy, and so we inquired about what could be made GF (since nothing is marked as such on the menu). We were given a run through of the menu and were delighted when the server mentioned that all of the toritillas were GF. We were skeptical, but went ahead and ordered the breakfast burrito (GF). I ordered the southwest bowl, but asked if the grilled zucchini could be substituted with a different veggie since I don't like zucchini - we settled on cauliflower. About 10 min after ordering, the server returned to let us know that the tortilla recipe had changed and they actually were not GF, so the burrito was off the table. Instead, we ordered the strawberry spinach salad off the menu, but then learned that we had been given an old menu by mistake and that salad was no longer offered. OK fine, we decided to order another SW bowl Service - as mentioned before, started off great, but quickly deteriorated. My wife's drink (club soda w/splash of cranberry) took 20min to arrive (and that was after inquiring multiple times). She asked for a straw, which never came whatsoever. Instead, my teenage child went to the bar and brought back a straw. Despite not being overly busy, the food took 30-35min to come out, and that was just for 3 of us; the other two entrees took another 10min (and this was after we asked our server where the rest of our order was). Tip for any restaurant that may be reading this - nobody is ever happy when half the table is served and the other half has to sit and wait for their food to come out! At this point, I had chalked up the bad experience to shorthanded staff, or someone having a bad day, but what really irked me was when the bill came and we discovered that: [a] apparently there are no refills on club soda (we were charged for refills that we did not ask for); and [b] when you ask to substitute one veggie for another, you are upcharged for "refried beans" (we ordered no such thing). Overall, a poor showing given we were celebrating a bday (we were so ready to leave, we didn't even bother to mention the bday to the staff).
