As a Cuban-American from Miami, I went here at the behest of my friends, not really expecting much. To my great surprise, the food here was better than anything I've had the past year or so in Miami. I ordered the picadillo bowl with white rice and black beans with tostones. All of it was scrumptious- the rice was soft and fluffy, the beans were full of flavor, tostones were small and crispy and the picadillo was similar to how I remember my grandmother making it. We're talking about eating here again tonight!
Nice people. Empanadas Delicious.
This place was near our hotel so we decided to check it out. Food was delicious and service was amazing. My family of 5 ordered the guava shake, ropa vieja, Cuban sandwiches and the fried plantains. All was amazing! Super flavorful, large portions, and very authentic. Even the pickiest of eaters enjoyed the entire meal. Would definitely return! Try them out!!
First time eating Cuban food and it did not disappoint. Ramon took our order, he helped recommend some dishes and was very patient with my husband and I as we took our time and ordered. We ordered the Ropa vieja bowl, the Cuban sandwich (must try) and some empanadas. Thank you for the great food and excellent service!
I ordered the Cuban sandwich with sweet plantains, and 3 different empanadas; ropa vieja, the Cuban, and guava and cheese. All were incredible! The bread on the Cuban sandwich was a bit hard (over toasted), but the flavor made up for it! Absolutely delicious! Situated in a little nook next to a shopping complex with a liquor store. Look out for them! Parking: They share the parking with the shopping complex, so just be aware of that when parking. Additional is located in the dennys parking lot.
