Cubans Be Like Restaurant

Ropa Vieja was delicious. Service was pretty slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full and no one was sitting outside. The ambiance is kind of rough and t he blaring loud “Happy Birthday” could be toned down. Overall, I would order to-go from them again but I’m not really interested in eating inside again.

This was an excellent place to eat. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Eylen, was wonderful. She took her time to explain the menu and was very attentive. Cubans Be Like… “We know how to make good food and we know how to have a good time.” Can’t wait to return.

Went to Cubans Be Like for dinner. Atmosphere was great servers were very friendly and engaging. The food was was very good. Wives had garlic shrimp, brother had pork and I had the official dish of Cuba. High marks for each entree. Would highly recommend.

Service was horrible. What started off as a celebration turned into a party full of disappointment. Our server hardly spoke English. They stuck 1 server with a party of 16. While she was also working the bar and other tables as other workers stood around. The manager watched her fail horribly and never stepped in. We waited 30 mins plus just for drinks. Over an hour before our food arrived. And when it did, all the food was cold. Not one person was able to eat. The black beans tasted spoiled, and lobsters were dried up inside the shell, and all the steaks were overcooked and dry. My friend never received a happy birthday as we watched other birthdays being celebrated. We watched 4 large parties arrive, eat, and leave while we were still waiting for dinner. After speaking to the manager, it became clear where the problem started. Her and our Melanin. This was the worst experience ever, and I am positive none of our parties will ever return again. After all the meals were sent back. We were still forced to pay large tickets that included 20% service charges each, even though we weren't given the service. All we had received was drinks. Which was the ONLY plus to this trip. If I could rate a negative 10, I would.
