Their food is always great, the staff friendly. Love the cafecito con leche! Parking: Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: Kid chairs
I had the grilled chicken sandwich with slaw on top which was super tasty!
It was slow when I came in so it didn't bother me that everyone was having conversations in the back. The Mojito was average it needed sugar. I wasn't very hungry so I opted for appetizers. I was very patient when I finished eating for my bill it took an inordinate amount of time to be recognized that I wanted to pay then when I did pay I needed a receipt and the bartender was in too big of a hurry to get back to the conversation in the back. I wasn't going to wait another 20 minutes so I went back open the door and had to holler at them to give me my receipt. The place was starting to get busy and they shouldn't have been in the back having personal conversations they should have paid attention to their clients they were not. I should have looked at the reviews and I probably would have avoided this place and went to the original Cuba Cuba, Apparently they're having management issues for whatever reason and aren't very attentive to their customers they're more concerned with their with their gossip. I doubt I'll ever be back I'll stick with the original Cuba downtown.
The menu is hard to navigate if you have food restrictions. I enjoyed my coffee with coconut milk. The patio is wonderful to sit on. The food is full of flavor.
Food is awesome here. Best Lechon
Ordered to go from here on a weekday evening. It was not busy. Ordered a cuban sandwhich and 3 different types of the empanadas. I have to admit I ate the food the next day so it was not fresh. I would have to say the sandwhich was not too tasty. The empanadas were good. Would not order a sandwhich from here again. Will keep looking for an authentic place. Plenty of parking in the lot. Good place to dine in. Staff was friendly.
Amazing food! Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Stumbled on this restaurant with coworkers and everyone loved their entrees. Excited to re-visit !
Placed an order for pick up, and unfortunately I did not expected the “To Go” tray to be very small. It’s like the size of the elementary children’s food trays. Even the children could finish this tray of food! I am highly disappointed, and upset. I paid $18.73 on top of $3+ tips for kids sized meal. Unacceptable! Maybe I’ve would’ve gotten more food if I were to dine in? But I’m doubting that as well. They’re being very stingy for food, that I paid a lot for. Not sure if I’ll ever want to go back there again! I couldn’t warm up the food because it’s in a foil tray, unless I warmed it up in the oven… That’s too long of a wait just to warm it up in the oven. It just doesn’t make any sense! Overall, food is very good. I just wished they would’ve gave me more. They should’ve just kept a couple foods in the tray, and put the others in separate containers. I’ve had Cuban food before, and I’ve gotten more food on the plate than this.. PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
As someone who’s been to Cuba and frequents Miami often, I’ve been chasing authentic Cuban for a long while, this was it! The bread, which so many “Cuban” restaurants can’t get right, was done wonderfully here. The cafecito cubano was perfect too!
