My second time coming here food was delicious. Customer service was great! My friend who has been vegan & traveled all over said this was the best vegan spot she has tasted.

Food was Bomb wait to was about 30 minutes best to order on line or via phone atmosphere was beautiful

This place is just too good. The vibes. The atmosphere. The drinks they make in house… also don’t forget the food is vegan… amazing overall. Amazing front end staff. Young kid grinding. A small family owned elegant place. All love here is what I felt.

This is the best Vegan food I have ever had. I have traveled the country and this stands out above all. There is an enormous selection. The food is so well flavored and cooked. The greenery creates a beautiful environment and atmosphere.

I loved the interior design & the young man taking our order was kind and patient with us since it was our first time. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity to try the food. I waited 1.5 hours and our meal hadn’t even got started to be made. I suppose the most upsetting was part the communication. I was told it would take 20-25 minutes for the food then after waiting 1.5 hrs they said they ran out of the meal I wanted. I asked for my money back. I hope to try this place in the future but the communication on wait times must be improved. It seems like it’s best to order the food online and come pick it up 2 hrs later at minimum.

I have been wanting to try Crystals for so long and somehow I would always miss the hours or something would happen that I wasnt able to make it. I had a really bad last few days and I’ve been kinda hiding from the world and feeling very down. Tonight I decided to really treat myself to try to lift my spirits and I saw that Postmates and Uber Eats lets Crystals deliver all the way to my house in mid LA! No other platform does this and I was super excited! I really splurged and got the smothered soul plate, a side of greens, a side of fried vegan shrimp, and a berry shortcake. I also ordered a lasagna which i did not receive, but i am hoping to get a refund for that (waiting on a response from either Postmates or Crystals when they reopen). This all came out to be a bit under 100 bux with tip and delivery fees but let me tell you I’m not mad. I’m not mad and I’m pretty broke atm. (Especially after I get back the 20+ for the missing item I’ll be really really not mad). When I tell you this was some of the best southern and soul food I’ve had, vegan or not, Im not lying. I pride myself in my own greens and most I’ve had in LA I don’t think come close, but the greens at Crystals made me smile so big. They were perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of vinegar. The shrimp was cooked just right and had good flavor in the batter. The Mac and Cheese I would serve to my bf who is definitely not vegan and would normally find vegan Mac n cheese nasty. The cornbread was sweet and perfectly moist. The potatoes and gravy like my gmas (delicious). The fried mushrooms cooked perfectly. The berry shortcake I was worried because it looked like it was melted or something when it came out of the bag, but when I went to eat it the cake under the berry sauce was in tact and not soggy at all. The sauce and berries were so sweet and tangy and dang I was walking around my kitchen during this meal just making mmm noises, kinda dancing around, smiling, and saying stuff like damnnn, hell yeah, etc. lol The portions are large too. I have at least another meal left with my smothered plate after eating until I was full. This meal made me feel better during a hard time and I really appreciate that. They also are super friendly at Crystals. I had to call because the smothered plate wasn’t on the Postmates menu and they were super kind and accommodating for me to order something else the same price and they would give me what I wanted. They even thanked me for letting them know. This was an all around super agreeable experience (aside from the missing item which I’m sure will be fixed) and I will definitely be eating there again. Definitely gonna show some ppl this place especially non vegans and also go to the actual restaurant next time as I heard it had a great atmosphere. Thanks Crystals! I’m glad you exist! Update: Not Crystals fault but for some reason Postmates will not refund me for the missing lasagna. they just say sorry for the inconvenience but we will not be able to provide you with a price adjustment.…..so that’s unfortunate. I’m hoping Crystals will be able to help me in this regard tmrw when they open. That would make this experience as close to perfect as it could be at this point. :) 2nd Update: I spoke to Crystals and they were super great again. They had no issue giving me the lasagna I ordered and I plan to go and eat there in person soon with my bf so I guess it was like they’re just saving it for me. lol I couldn’t have gotten close to eating all that food last night anyway. I just finished what I did get a little bit ago. So all good.
