Love it

From the moment I walked in, the staff was genuinely friendly and smiled. I somehow met the owner by questioning his height. Hes 6'8 and smiles; cant miss him. He was an instant friend. Refreshing sense of humor. Now the food...whew. I've attached the pictures of what we ate. Mouth-gasms! That carrot cake ice cream with ginger pieces and oatmeal raisin cookies (my favorite)... I fell in love. I always have dessert first so I'm serious about this one. Each dish was a delightful discovery. Notably, they make alot of their ingredients in-house. Order any drink with the their in-house made chocolate liquer. Almost made me throw my undies! Delicious! (No, they dont sell it. I tried ) Definitely, recommend this location for a small group or a date. We went to the cigar lounge a few places over after. Such a great night!

Its decent for Melbourne but nothing special.

I went here for my birthday last night with my family and wow! we had put ‘birthday’ in the reservation comments and right after stepping in, the hostess gave me a happy birthday card signed by the staff, so cute. Our server was also amazing she was SO nice and my birthday feel special. The burrata is to DIE for, i was speechless. The chili lime pineapple soda mocktail was also absolutely amazing. All of our food was amazing, absolutely nothing to complain about. Our server wrote happy birthday on a crème brûlée plate and that crème brûlée was so good. there was chocolate at the bottom and it sounds weird but it was AMAZING. My parents took the carrot cake ice cream and raved about it the whole night.

We've done Crush XI for date night a few times. The food is consistently spectacular, and the service is top tier. Sometimes I worry we've ruined ourselves for "fine dining" in larger cities, but Crush XI brings that fine dining experience at completely reasonable prices right here to downtown Melbourne. I always tell myself I'm going to try something new, but typically end up ordering the Pork Chop. Big recommend on the dates and the brussel sprouts.
