CRUDA Mariscos & Oyster Bar

Very rarely do I give a poor reviews but this was a really bad experience. 10 minutes after we sat the watery margs came. We skipped apps b/c of the wait. We did ask for a little more salsa-it was forgotten. 2 entrees were okay. Enchiladas and burger. The big issue was the malcojete with shrimp and octopus. Neither were grilled as the menu described. The shrimp was way over cooked and flavorless, the octopus was inedible, rubbery, not trimmed, very tough. Everything was very hot but the octopus wasn’t, so it seemed to be out of the package and dropped in the dish. The waiter disappeared so there wasn’t an opportunity to comment or try another dish. The prices are on the high side so the cheapest possible napkins, plates, and even cutlery is a turn-off. And, they did not have oysters at 5pm, ummmmm “oyster bar”. They have great reviews so they must otherwise be doing something right.

Food was really good and our server went above and beyond. Great experience! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu!

I been wanting to try oysters out and I'm very glad I came here everything I tried was fresh, the service was Just as good as the food but after like 4 or 5 oysters I was good lol but the bacon wrapped shrimp was fire, if I'm ever craving oysters again I'll be right back here!

Combo restaurant and sports bar. No a place for a quite dinner meeting. Good food and a trendy crowd Parking: Downtown Tucson can be a parking challenge. Paid garages are ok

Great food, great service, great energy

La comida no estaba tan mal , pero el servicio al cliente fue terrible, (un molcajete lo sirvieron a la mitad y barato no esta, [ La mesera con mucho aliento a cigarrillo] Les tuvimos que pedir los menús, agua y las bebidas se tardaron. También ordenamos totopos y salsa y se tardaron en traerlos, Estuvimos esperando mucho para que nos trajiera mas agua, El lugar no estaba ni a la mitad de su capacidad pero seguía la atención muy mal, nos quedó claro que atendian mas pronto y mejor a los gabachos que a los paisanos, que triste que piensen que nuestro dinero valga menos ò que no tengan a ninguna persona observando esas cosas o no les importe el servicio al cliente

Didn't eat. I just had a beer, but the place smelled delicious! The servers are very nice and it was a good cheerful atmosphere.

Went for early dinner. Had the oysters, mar y Pina, and molcajete. All were delish. Highly recommend.
