Excellent Indian food! Glad my boyfriend and I went to eat here. It’s a small cozy spot in Denver but worth it!

I love Indian food and they have one of the best curries. Not too spicy just right.

Alright. So. Ive been to atleast half the indian restaurants in denver so far over the past two months. First thing i will say about this place, IGNORE the rave reviews. 100% they are being paid to say that. The fact that one of the recent reviews linked a picture of ASAIN FOOD at an indian restaurant should be a dead giveaway. Paying for reviews is very common practice. I had a to go order of chicken tikka masala with an order of garlic naan. I actually ordered two naans but he only gave me one. My naan came half charred and it was hard to eat, the tikka masala sauce was bland, the chicken tasted like it was quite actually 3 days old and turned, and the texture made me think it was bought at a wal mart and just thrown into the dish to save money, and the rice was atleast a month old. How do i know this? Because i pulled a rock hard sharp object out of my mouth amidst eating this attrocity, that was a blackened extremely inedible rice grain. Im hoping i didnt mistakenly eat any others, or my intestines might end up with holes! Edit: @ 12:11 am oct 7th, yeah uh, ive been having intense bowel discomforts all day today as the food I ate from here passes through me. Its the worst ive felt in well over a year. Back to the original review below. I did speak with the owner before i left with my take out. Seems hes the only worker and is closing up the shop soon so hes probably trying to get rid of the rest of his ingredients supply as fast as he can. i respect him, and i wish him the best as a culinary artist, indian cuisine is absolutely an artform and im sure at his best he could cook up a monster curry. But as it stands right now, this is the worst place in denver for indian ive been. literally 2 miles away there are 3 other indian shops and they all do it better. Go to them instead!

This is our first Indian meal in Denver. While it wasn't the best - that distinction still goes to a favorite back in Bellevue, WA - it was alright. I'm fact, it was better than just good. We had the chicken tandoori which was very well done, with the right char; the classic butter and garlic naan breads were spot on...we love the spinach paneer and the chicken masala. The lamb biryani lacks the lamb taste, which I think is because of the cut chosen. It was sad to hear though that they're closing the business soon and won't be moving to another location. I wish I get another chance to dine here before they close. Those who read this post - pls, if you're able, come and dine here before they close out. They serve authentic Indian food which you will enjoy, but they're just really good people. Please support them or at least share this post with your friend. Mid October is probably when they will close the Crown Of India.

I've had Indian food across the United States and I can say that the chicken curry and paratha I had here is by far the best I've ever had. If you are only looking for good food and do not care about ambience or service then this is the place. The mango lassi is the best! Please visit this place and support it. They have the best Indian food you'll ever eat.

I also do not understand the previous reviews. Nothing about this restaurant made sense and the service was horrendous. We were pointed to a table when we first walked in and sat down hoping it was the right spot. There were flies everywhere. It looked like the table tops and floors were not cleaned well. We held out hope for the food after reading the reviews. Then our sauces for the samosa came out frozen and the flavor of everything was very bland. There is much better Indian food for that price around Denver. Highly recommend taking your money elsewhere.

When we walked in we weren't sure what to expect. Menus werent very spectacular. Posters on wall looked like ones you put up in college. But when the food came out. Wow. Tasty. So much flavor. The spicy was perfect spice level. We had the Vindaloo, masala, madras, okra, garlic naan. Food. I would give it 6 stars. Atmosphere 2 stars. I would go back for take out for sure. Suggestion. Find a place 1/4 the size. Make it look nice. Then keep up the great food. You out will make so much more money and more customers.

Absolutely adore this hole in the wall, family owned restaurant. It's authentic, decently priced (especially in comparison to Little India just down the street), and more importantly their food is delicious! The employees are always kind too. Even when my food is late, they are courteous to offer me water and a seat at a table. Love eating and taking out from here!! I recommend the lamb saag and paneer vindaloo
