Crown & Anchor British Pub

We were all looking forward to coming here, I found it on the way to Vegas because it was dog friendly. Unfortunately, it was so windy, I had to eat a to-go meal in the car, whilst my party of 5 ate inside. My food was okay. 2 of my family members didn't enjoy theirs at all. One had fish and chips, and the fish wasn't cooked all the way through, so she could barely eat any. It was also cold and no flavor. The kids all had grilled cheese, which they actually enjoyed. Another member of the party, who is actually British, ordered the English breakfast. Sausage had no flavor, no seasoning on the mushrooms, the bacon was more like Canadian bacon, and the toast wasn't even all the way toasted and cold. I ordered cottage pie to eat in the car, and at least my food was warm and cooked. Mashed potatoes were good, meat needed salt and pepper, which I couldn't get. Salad was nice. I usually don't ever do negative reviews, but after spending over 100 dollars, I felt I needed to. They did say the server was great, although she forgot the drinks till halfway thru the meal. The place wasn't busy, but in fairness to her, they said she seemed like the only one, and I understand that gets crazy. I asked if they said anything, to give the restaurant a chance to make it right, and they didn't because I was waiting out in the car. Perhaps we will give them another chance next time we're visiting our friends in Vegas, but maybe not bring everyone.

The food is horrible ⚠️☠️ But if you want to see a show come on in. Watch the servers and bartender take advantage of the senior citizens. They will over charge them and keep giving them drinks so they pay more lol. Plus the cooks can't cook. Again the food is really bad ☠️. And if you want to get an idea of what I'm talking about read the comments with the one star and the multiple thumbs up . Those are the honest ones. The atmosphere is bad too. It feels like you're walking into a public restroom.

Written from a frequent tourist perspective. I've been meaning to get here for years and we finally did. My wife and I came to watch a Vegas Golden Knights away game on Monday afternoon, so the place was pretty empty. A premiere League game was on the speakers with fans in attendance. After that was over they switched the audio to the VGK which was on TV with no sound. So Soccer comes first as it should. We took advantage of the half price appetizers during VGK games. And I got the all day English breakfast as well. The food was amazing. We are definitely planning on returning on future trips. I saw another review calling it a dive bar with terrible food. Not true. I noticed details like the marinara sauce with the fried cheese sticks was house made and good. A dive bar would be opening a can of sauce, not cooking from scratch.

Great place to go if you're craving a Yorkshire Pudding or a classic English dinner. Satisfying and a great value.
