Wow! Just visited the allusive Crema Coffeehouse. I had a breakfast sandwich so good you would have thought Jesus Christ himself handmade it. Turns out, it was just a man named John (isn’t it always, ladies?). The vibes are good, the service is awesome and the food is superb. Love the coffee too - slayed.
The quiche and greens is so good
This place is the OG of coffee in the Denver area. I’ve been coming here since 2010 and despite the changes in staff (as any place opened as long should have) the greatness has never lapsed. The espresso is excellent…they use a combination of different roasters from all over the US. It is rare that you find a coffee shop that produces top quality espresso with house baked goods…I know there are many that try. I applaud them, but none can match what Crema does here. Their service is quick yet patient. At times there are lines, but the staff handles the rush with efficiency and friendliness. I have traveled throughout the world and I have not found Crema’s equal. They’re quirky (as you’d expect in a thriving artistic community), skilled, and consistently excellent. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options but I’m unsure if celiac-safe.
Nice atmosphere, lots of nooks to sit in. They have a great and interesting menu for a coffee shop, which is refreshing! The sweet potato waffle could do with a bit of salty butter.
