Excellent breakfast croissants, coffee, and pastries. The welcoming atmosphere is great
such a fun atmosphere, I loved it here and I can't wait to visit again!
Thrown out because we weren’t wearing a mask. It was well into 2022. There were three employees behind the counter and zero people in the restaurant. They still were very rude and demanded that we leave. Sorry to see them shut down. Not.
Crema is a neighborhood gem. I'm so sorry that they're closing after this weekend (9/17/22). They work so hard to sweeten lives. I'll always keep an eye out for them to come back some day. Lots of love, ladies!
Great coffee and pastries!
Delicious! I'm sad that this was my first visit since they're closing soon but I'm glad I finally made it. Thanks for speaking up and being a beacon of hope during a dark time in our political history.
The staff was not helpful. As soon as we walked in, they blurted out that all the sandwiches are cold. Then the cash deposit woman (not a staff member) stepped in and said there was 2 exceptions, but everything is pre-made. The staff member treated us as if she was trying to get us to leave. (We came in as normal customers and were not loud or disruptive to the environment) Then our sandwiches finally came and they shouted our food item, but with other customers they would say it with a much softer voice. She then forgot my tomato soup and when I went back to ask for it, she didn't apologize and just giggled away to kitchen. The cherry on top was noticing that Caucasian customers were served in a glass plate, but we (Hispanic) were served in to-go plates/cups when we said the food was to dine-in. This discrimination is not okay, I never leave reviews but I couldn't leave this place without making people aware of this. The name of the restaurant is literally a spanish/latin root word, they could at least have the decency to respect us.
I thought it would be fun to take some macarons to my daughter's party. Unfortunately I was totally embarrassed. They were way too sweet, so sweet my daughter spat it out, however, the flavor was good. Some friends told us about another bakery (La Patisserie) that has really good macarons, so we went there the next day. What a difference! If you are looking for a more traditional French pastry, avoid Crema. Plus the lady who helped me was quite rude.
Absolutely love this place and crushed its closing. Every pastry is supurb, service is excellent, with inside and outside areas. Don't listen to these fools, like Brandon, who've gone once and decided to be a jerk on a Friday. This shop has welcomed everyone, gives the same attention to every customer, every time. Again, very sad to see it go and wish them the best.
