Cravin' Crab Haus

Wow surprised on this location, this reminds me of stinky crawfish. 2nd time here and will be coming here. A little pricy. Can't order half pound, must order only by pound. What I get is pound of shrimp with the head, pound of clams, medium sauce n extra sauce on the side, potatoes, sausage n corn. All the flavors together mixed in. LOVE IT

Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The $5 house drinks are pretty good, two and you should be feeling good. The food was good and worth recommending to anybody in the mood for a crab boil or something to that effect

The best Cajun in south California. I have tried many places from Palm Springs to LA I have not see anything taste this good. !!!!!!!! Again . You have to try this out . The best of the best

The service was great, food is great, I did not like that they have packages which leave out some of the most important things like the sausage or that you have to add a bunch of things individually with the prices already very steep. Flavor is great and service was fast Parking: You have to pay but the do validate so don’t forget your ticket

We came in to have a Galentines dinner with our friends and split one of the combo meals. It was plenty of food with an appetizer, main course, dessert, and two drinks included which included cocktails as a selection. The service was great everyone was very personable. The only issue was the churro dessert had a freezer burn taste but the seafood was so fresh and delicious we didn't care. We went for the seafood which was top notch. Garlic bread was soft and tasty. Yesterday, I was looking for a quick option to have a snack and a place to connect through WiFi to have a short meeting through Zoom. The first place I found was this restaurant. I asked the host if the have free WiFi and he told me: "We don't have, but the university offers free WiFi." When I mentioned that I wasn't a student, he told me: "it doesn't matter". I decided to come in everything was nice until I was about to finish my food (shrimp, potatoes and corn). An insect was in the pan they served. I was not sure if it was a little cockroach because it was very tiny. I called the waiter, and he said: "let me see! It is not a cockroach, it is a gnat" First, he never apologized but just explained why that could happen. He put the pan back on the table without the insect. Second, he asked me: "you are going to do Apple Pay, right?". I was surprised that he would charge me even though that disgusting thing happened to be in my food. He was keeping the same rhetoric trying to explain the reasons of gnats in the restaurant. Third, when I asked, "You are still going to charge me despite this?" He said: "yes because you ate your food". I said, "yes, but I found out after". He gave an attitude, and I stopped arguing because I was in a rush to go back home to prepare for an event. He only provided a discount, that I considered not enough as the person in charge of this restaurant was unapologetic or saying at least: "I am sorry" not even once, which would have more meaningful. Pictures show the pan and the bill as proof that I was there. I will not come back to a crab house for a long time.

Let’s start with the food. 2 stars. They offer a luxury deal for $89, that comes with a side. But it doesn’t come with everything that the all in deal comes with that’s only $10 cheaper. We opted for the luxury since it comes with a side of your choice and dessert plus 2 drinks an additional $4 if you want alcoholic bev. It comes with crab legs shrimp, corn, 1 potato, we opted for mussels as our second choice with the shrimp. The mussels look more like clams. They were extremely tiny. The shrimp was okay sized but they only gave about 10 shrimps. If you want sausage it’s an extra $9. We had to have the sausage since the luxury didn’t come with it. The sausage came out completely over cooked and almost soggy like. No snap to the sausage what so ever. The Cajun fries were crispy and fluffy on the inside but had little to no Cajun seasoning. Seated immediately so no wait time on a Friday night seating rating A Food can be better or improved. Seasoning was flavorful for the Cajun meal. Rating C Service was okay, they were attentive but forgot my drink and when I asked for my drink they said oh you want another one?? No you forgot my original drink. So service gets a C+ Overall I paid $136 with tip for 2 people for food that I thought was lack luster. Over priced for the quality of food they provide in my opinion. There are better options for less.
