CRAFT Beer Market Southcentre

Came in for a quick dinner, served at the bar by Emmanuel. Fantastic service, greeted as soon as we sat down, super friendly the whole time. Some of the best service we've had in the city in recent memory.

The atmosphere is great and the servers are amazing too! Honestly I’ve always liked this place but it’s just not in my price to performance window anymore. For two appetizers and 3 drinks. It was $80. That’s not really a terrible price at some places especially with inflation. But the tuna tacos and the street tacos here were not worth the value. They tasted mediocre and for $18 I was disappointed. My partner and I and our friends were happy with the environment and the portions on the regular meals were acceptable but they were also only $5 - $10 more than the appetizers. So I recommend sharing entrees over the actual appetizers menu if you want to try something good but actually get a respectable portion. The tuna tacos had at most 1oz of tuna on the whole appetizer and the rest of the wonton was filled with rice. The chicken wings also don’t go very far for value either. Not a bad restaurant just disappointed with what I got for what I paid.

[Mar 31, 2024 Update]: Keeping my 5 stars, only for the appreciation for the great beers (my fav today was Port Moody's Hazy) and a very attentive manager (thank you for taking care of the flight and not letting me leave without my sunglasses). The bartender (а gent with a beard) was RUDE! I tried to make a small talk and a joke, and he threw the flight menu in front of me, turned around, and walked away. This is when I got up and went to pay for my tab because I wasn't going to spend another second in this establishment. To management - there are hundreds of great people looking for work! Good customer service is essential to the restaurant's success.

Really cool setup inside and even better food was a great first experience.
