The front staff are friendly enough but the kitchen is either understaffed, or to small, likely both. The restaurant is very busy and the staff and the building itself struggle to keep up. Waiting 45+ minutes for eggs and biscuits with a lukewarm country fried steak is beyond disappointing, and having them get your wife's order wrong on multiple levels after such a wait is the heat lamp warm cherry on top. This is a change that seems recent as I have been plenty of times before and had great food, however, the past handful of times have been repeated disappointments and I can conclude that this is just the way it is now and I can't think of why I would ever go back. The same thing happened over recent years with chili's and its sad to see cracker barrel join them, especially when the prices do not reflect the drop in quality. Also makes no sense that they'll let me walk out of there with 6 biscuits and a cup of gravy I do not want, but will not substitute the aforementioned biscuits and gravy for 2 pancakes and a 1oz bottle of syrup.
