Grits were a bit soupy and lumpy but cooked well. The service was great and I loved that the fireplace was lit and I was seated near it on this cold morning
The impossible sausage was great. PNcajes ok
We arrived about 9:50 and we're immediately seated with no wait. We have our waitress or order by 10:00. We watched as the table next to us, why arrived after us, received there order. Or waitress told us the kitchen was 40 minutes behind on orders, which we thought ours as we didn't have to wait for a seat. We finally got it breakfast at 11, about ONE HOUR after we have our order. We didn't leave there until 12 noon! I really feel like that was an exorbitant amount of time to wait and spend there. At least the food was hot. We only ordered biscuits and sausage patties, pancakes, and eggs and biscuits. Nothing that takes and hour to cook. Kid-friendliness: They always have a wonderful option for children.
If I wanted to spend my entire day starving, I would have just stayed at the Flying Biscuit where the wait was 1 1/2 hours.
A good meal, good atmosphere, good service. I always enjoy Cracker Barrel.
