Crab Stop of Sebastian - Seafood Restaurant

Food very good but we wanted fried crabs wrong day to get them

We ordered our food at approximately 7:15 and we did not get our appetizers until about 30 minutes later, which was followed by our food that came at 8:19. I am especially unhappy with the wait time of our food as the restaurant was not particularly busy on tonight. However, out waitress was not that attentive but she was friendly and the food was fresh and hot although we did request extra seasoning as there was not enough on the food.

I was very disappointed with their service. We were shown to our table and ignored by the wait staff. Another couple came in and they were served promptly. Do not waste your time or money. Need to work on better wait staff.

We went last night for dinner. The hostess told us it would be approximately 15 minutes. We waited for over an hour. People were coming in after us that were being seated before us, 3 parties of 3 people which is what we had. When we said something to the hostess, she asked the name and phone number again. She couldn't even find the name. She did not apologize and proceeded to tell us that she was "waiting" for customers to get up. We waited another 10 minutes and decided to leave. Best choice on our part. We went to Squidlips. It was excellent. I will not go back to The Crab Stop again. They should have someone overseeing the staff.

Great spot

While Crab Stop does have one of the best deck views on the IRL, the food is not prepared well. Our server was overwhelmed - having to not only wait tables but serve behind the bar as well. It was a quiet Sunday evening - many empty tables but our party of six waited over an hour for food. These were not difficult orders and having worked on the food service industry, it was easy to see they were understaffed. The food arrived and had been under a heat lamp for some time. The crab cakes and fries were cold and the seafood rice was not prepared as the menu described and was cold in the middle. Our guests said their food was OK. (Fried shrimp and some crab legs). We are local; we live here all year, and the best we can say is that our server was a wee gem! Under the circumstances she was put under, she did her best and seemed to be quite aware that the food coming from the kitchen was subpar. So not her fault.. Cannot recommend the food. Perhaps go for drinks and a nice view…

Service was slow. It was a Saturday somewhat understandable but it took 50 minutes to get our food. We got tired and had to ask for our neal to go. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, it was very cold and she moved us inside. Definitely need more staff , one bartender was not enough for the weekend, she was also very slow, overall staff not very friendly. Not going back, it is not worth my time and money .
