Located at the corner of Clark Avenue and Devon, this true American diner is bright, lively and welcoming. I had the Chilaquiles Verde with Skirt steak. The Tortillas were super fresh, cooked and perfectly drenched in a tangy, savory, warm, homemade green tomatillo Salsa but still kept a little bit of crispness. The Skirt steak was grilled to perfection. Juicy, succulent and seasoned to perfection. The meal was served with refried beans and rice and over-easy eggs that were the perfect custardy, creamy compliment to everything. The coffee was so delicious that I had two cups which is very much out of the ordinary for me...so good! The Crema added the perfect tanginess to offset everything else. The service was attentive without hovering, which I really appreciate. The burgers looked great and the French Toast looked scrumptious. The wait time from seated to food served was pretty quick, considering how busy it was. And it was quite busy when I went. I so enjoyed my meal here that I went back just three days later for carryout! This is a true American Diner. Bright, lively and welcoming. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so go early and enjoy. If you want fresh and delicious breakfast or lunch, Cozy Corner is your place.
