Excellent food. Homemade sauces and bbq. Burnt ends, burgers, turkey, ribs, macaroni and cheese. Fun for kids
Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening, no crowd, maybe 20 patrons total (mostly at the bar). We sat in a booth, the food is mostly BBQ, but they had some Lenten specials, which was nice. I had the fried shrimp with broccoli and slaw. Hubby had the pork chops with fries and a salad. Both meals were okay (thus the 3 stars for food). Our waitress was terrible!! She was slow to take out orders, then, she was talking to the people in the booth next to us, I'm not even kidding, for 15+ minutes. While we said to ourselves, man it's taking a while. The kitchen called her, she told them to wait so she could finish talking. She then went and got our food, which was luke warm, actually, my broccoli was stone cold. We do not like to complain or return food (we both know what happens in some kitchens)... So we ate. Then she disappeared!! Waited another 15 mins after completing our meals and flagged another server down to get our check. We will not be back.
