Nostalgic downtown diner serving up southern classics and real deal bbq. Friendly local crowd and staff brightened up a rainy-day Friday lunch.
Always a fun place to take out of town guest. The grandkids love sitting in the bus. Food is good and portions are large. The fried pickles are a must.
I used to love Country’s. You can see my previous review below. Something has happened and the workers no longer seem to care about order accuracy. Literally every time I order now the order is missing at least one thing or missing an entire meal. Last time I ordered several meals including a hamburger steak with extra gravy. Get the meal, and there is no gravy or onions at all and it’s missing fries. They put some runny stuff on it and gave me a container of tellow gravy. This is incredibly frustrating when you are picking up your food. You have to check it in the drive through or you run the risk of getting home to find something is missing. Why not check the orders before you release them to the customer? Also, how do you run out of cornbread? The chicken breast are so small now. It’s becoming a rip off! Out of conrbread on 3/1/24 Old review that is no longer 100% accurate: I love Country's barbecue! Turkey and dressing on Fridays is my favorite. I try to call in my order so it's ready when I get there. Staff is very friendly. I like the other locations too but haven't been in a while. They also have a drive thru with is convenient. I love their stew and cornbread. Sweet tea is good too. Country's on Broad is my go to.
Great food in a cool location
