Countrymen's Bierhall | Moscow, ID - Bar & Restaurant

We had a delightful evening with another couple. Food and beer were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be returning, probably regularly.

Enjoyed our first evening at the Bierhall with another couple; all were impressed with the variety and uniqueness of the entrees on the menu. And I haven't mentioned the taste!! And those amazing fritters!!!! My husband loved the 9# porter and our friends kept refilling their ipas. I've never seen a salad with watermelon radishes on it in a restaurant! Amazing. The place was busy, but we were well cared for by our server, and even the owner and chef checked on us. The bee sting cake rivals our family's favorite Hungarian restaurant's pastries; I could've licked the plate. We'll be back! (And the axe throwing was fun, too!)

I brought a large party here of my friends/peers for a prospective student visit, and we were served raw/undercooked food in FOUR of the dishes we ordered (two orders of pigs in a blanket that were cold in the middle, one order of questionable chicken drumsticks, and one VERY raw order of chicken drumsticks). At least 6 or 7 of us unknowingly ate raw chicken tonight. I'm hoping to god we all don't get food poisoning as I write this, and even now (about an hour after we left) I'm starting to feel a bit queasy. Not good. Our server, Bellarae, was super kind and I felt horrible for her having to be the middle-man in this situation. But I absolutely cannot come back here in good faith, and I encourage anyone reading this to steer clear of the food. Especially when they serve chicken that isn't even close to being cooked. *as a slight edit for fairness to the owner's reply, the issue with the raw chicken occurred AFTER coming to our table to converse, as we ordered several appetizers for our group of 15. The pigs in a blanket were served prior to this conversation, but we didn't have much of an issue with it until the issues with the drumsticks arose. The sausages appeard to be fully cooked (albeit cold), so we simply informed the waitress and moved past it thinking it was a harmless mistake. Bringing it up here was meant to show that, for us, what initially felt like a fluke error turned out to be a pattern, unfortunately. We had an overall pleasant experience, but the chicken incident is hard to be complacent with due to the potential for harm.

The food was fantastic! The service was awesome! Chris, Garrett and Bella rwere very personable. We loved the atmosphere! We went in for a birthday dinner with 2 young picky eaters who loved the food.. When we were leaving it was decided we would definitely return at least once a month.

Best brat I've ever had.... well done guys.

Just coming up, and will ultimately be the 5 star I know they can be.

Awesome food, service, and company. Soft opening the day we were there, and it was flawless.

Just went for the first time, what a find!!! Best food I've had around here in a long time, very good service, very kind staff. Brats and spätzle are amazing, and the beer, wine, cider and alcoholic beverage options are plentiful. Amazing cooks, good atmosphere, and they even have board games. Definitely will be back soon!
